About this series: These are some pieces I made during a period of experiencing love, the death of a partner and disappointment. While making the work, I ended up thinking a lot about what it meant to "fall out of grace." I connected this to news stories of women who were stigmatized due to culture and profession, using a visual backdrop of African and Haitian-based myth and spiritual symbols.
